EO Energy
THE DESIGN
I approached this energy drink design with the intent of creating something that was both striking visually and that embodied, subtly, 60s racing culture (think like Ford v. Ferarri). This is evidenced by the red checkered details and the overall red/white combo. Moreover, I believe that the EO design in itself could be used as a brand mascot if this were to become an actual product/brand. The mockup is a freebie off of Gumroad by Sacha Nati. 
CONTEXT
This was for another design brief by prospect100 in which we were tasked to create an energy drink can design that had the name "Engine Oil" which was car-themed. Besides this, there was limited instruction and relative creative freedom when it came down to design. Everything else on the can, besides the name (which I shortened to simply EO), is designed by me.
