THE DESIGN
This poster was for a Halloween concept event for Phoebe Bridgers ("Moonlight and Monsters") that would supposedly take place in Transylvania. The poster itself is an extended, modified version of her Punisher album cover, with an added gothic castle in the background. Simply a fun project about an event that will probably never take place --- I am happy with the design though :)
CONTEXT
This was my entry to the recent prospect100 competition "Design a Halloween Concert Poster For Your Favorite Submission." Some more explanation I included with my entry: "Generally, and with most design work I put out, I take a good amount of time researching formats or other projects done by other designers. However, for this poster, I knew almost instinctively the artist I was going to pick. Bridgers’ usage of skeletons is greatly synonymous with her brand and a listening event, in Transylvania of all places, fits perfectly."
